RuleForge ("the App") is a Shopify application that lets merchants configure checkout rules such as free shipping thresholds and product discounts. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is used.

Data we access

When you install the App, we access:

• Your store domain and access token, used to authenticate requests
• Discount and metafield data required to create and manage your rules
• Product and cart data at checkout, processed by Shopify Functions

How we use it

Data is used solely to operate the App's features. Cart and checkout data is processed inside Shopify's own infrastructure by Shopify Functions and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

What we store

We store your store domain, an access token needed to keep your session active, and the date your free trial started. We do not store customer names, addresses, payment details, or order contents.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. No analytics or advertising services are integrated into the App.

Data retention and deletion

When you uninstall the App, your session record is deleted automatically and Shopify removes the discounts the App created in your store. We keep your store domain and the date your trial started, so that reinstalling does not restart the trial period. To request deletion of any remaining data, contact us at the address below.

Security

All communication with the App uses HTTPS. Access tokens are stored on our server and are not exposed publicly.
